Act II

If I were trying to convince Brutus to join the conspiracy I would pretty much tell him the same things the ret of the sonsiraters did. About how Caesar was not any better than he was, and remind him of his deep love for the Roman Republic. Also how he would in turn be saving Rome.

Caesar Theme

Patriotism never goes unpaid for.

Brutus loved Rome so much that he was willing and driven to to murder one of his dearest friends. Yet, it wasn't that easy because in the end he killed his own self while at battle.

Julius Caesar Acts I and II

Act I -- I believe that Cassius' intentions are pretty good at this point, only trying to overthrow Caesar to save the republic and trying to prevent something bad from happening. Yet it seems like everything has to be done in a big way with him, or a conspiracy.

Act II -- In trying to convince Brutus to join the conspiracy I would tell him the same things that the other conspiraters are. I would remind him of how they once lived equally with Caesar and that all the fame is getting to his head and once he was dictator things may go bad. I would also remind him of how the people see him as a noble man and may in turn put him in charge of the republic.
